Earth Testing and Measurements

Key to this is ERM’s dedicated team of field staff that are highly-experienced, having worked on a wide range of earthing systems including substations up to 400kV, renewables, power stations, railways and industrial sites. ERM provides the most comprehensive test packages in the industry, covering all aspects of earthing assessment and helping ensure compliance with required standards.

Where land access is necessary for field tests, ERM is able to identify and contact land owners as necessary. Environmental protection is taken very seriously so all land access is pedestrian-only.

We can also provide independent audit of newly installed earthing or lightning protection systems, checks against drawings and latest standards / specifications, joint testing, bonding checks and overall earth impedance measurements.
